Miley Cyrus is set to enter at number 1 on the UK's Official Singles Chart this weekend with her latest track, We Can't Stop.

The 20 year-old's single is on course to end Avicii's three week spell at number one with Wake Me Up.

We Can't Stop is currently outselling the Swedish DJ's track by nearly two copies to one, according to the Official Charts Company.

If it continues to perform well We Can't Stop will be her first UK top 10.

Her previous highest charting tracks include 2008's See You Again and 2009's The Climb.

Party In The USA, written by Jessie J peaked at number 11.

Miley's father Billy Ray reached number three in 1992 with Achy Breaky Heart, while her brother Trace Cyrus from Metro Station peaked at number six in 2009 with Shake It.
