Rudimental 'excited' ahead of Jay-Z festival performance
Rudimental say they are excited to perform for Jay-Z and Beyonce at the rapper's festival in the US next month.
Piers Agget said the band had been picked by the star to perform at his Made in America event.
"Jay-Z is our best friend," he said. "Beyonce has heard Feel The Love, apparently, and she loved it."
Agget made the comments ahead of their performance at this weekend's T in the Park at Balado, where they perform in King Tut's Wah Wah tent on Friday.
"I heard he gets well involved in his festival," he said. "He's got a festival in Philadelphia called Made in America and he chooses all the artists.
"I think they sent us some champagne when we got our number one as well. That's a joke. Maybe they will do one day.
"We're going to hopefully meet them when we're out there and hopefully they'll love our show and that whole friendship can blossom."
Piers Agget also confirmed that Rudimental had been talking to other artists during their travels about collaborations.
"Ian Brown from the Stone Roses, we met in Australia," he said. "We met the Prodigy in Australia. Skream's a good mate, he did a remix for us.
"In Malta we met Rita Ora. It's just what happens when you run around all these festivals, you start meeting loads of really, really cool artists. Collaborations then follow."
Rudimental are performing at the Made in America Festival on 31 August.
