Liam Gallagher gets 'new found focus' for album

Liam Gallagher says his band Beady Eye had a "new found focus" when writing their second album.

Titled BE, the album was recorded in London with Yeah Yeah Yeahs producer Dave Sitek.

"He's without a doubt the best producer I've ever worked with, a real outlaw," Gallagher said of the TV On The Radio man.

"When we were writing it, we really got our heads down - clear heads," he added.

Beady Eye will play this year's V Festival and T in the Park.

BE will be released on 10 June 2013.
