Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh signs book deal
Kimberley Walsh is following in her bandmate Cheryl Cole's footsteps by releasing an autobiography.
After 10 years performing together, the 31-year-old has promised to share what it was "really like" in Girls Aloud.
Last month, at the end of their 10-year celebration tour, the group announced they were splitting up.
"People have been asking me to tell my story for years but it never felt right while the band was still together," said Kimberley Walsh.
"Now, as we all turn the next page in our lives, it feels like the perfect time for me to share with my fans what my life is really like."
In recent years Walsh has starred in London's West End, released a solo album of musical theatre songs and appeared on Strictly Come Dancing.
Headline Publishing Group says the book will show what life was like "behind the scenes" of the UK's most successful girl group.
In March 2012, Cheryl Cole released her "tell-all" book in which she revealed details of her marriage to footballer Ashley Cole.
Girls Aloud have already released a joint autobiography called Dreams That Glitter.
