Miles Kane says new album will be 'positive and upbeat'
Miles Kane has described the sound of his forthcoming second solo album as "big, positive and upbeat".
The singer also confirmed that he would like to have the album come out "before the summer".
Speaking to Newsbeat, Miles Kane said much of the sound of the album is like the single Inhaler, featured on his first album.
"That was sort of the blueprint to make this real upbeat, heavy, catchy album. That's what I've done," he said.
He added: "I can't wait for it to get out there."
In February Miles Kane was part of the nationwide NME Awards Tour, performing alongside Django Django, Palma Violets and Peace.
"It was fantastic - it felt like we were part of something as a gang," he explained.
He released his debut solo album Colour Of The Rap in May 2011.
Miles Kane's latest single, Give Up, is out now.
