Ed Sheeran to perform at Grammys in Los Angeles
Ed Sheeran has announced that he will be performing at this year's Grammy Awards ceremony.
The singer confirmed on Twitter that he will be appearing at the event on 10 February in California.
"Buzzing to announce I am going to be performing live on @TheGRAMMYs... Cannot wait!"
Other artists on the bill include fellow British artists Mumford & Sons as well as Taylor Swift, Rihanna and The Black Keys.
His single The A Team has been nominated in the song of the year category.
Call Me Maybe by Carly Rae Jepsen and Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You) by Kelly Clarkson are also up for the same award.
Ed Sheeran also promised fans further details about his appearance.
"More exciting news on the performance at the Grammys coming soon, stay tuned," he wrote.
Mumford & Sons dominate the nominations for this year's Grammy Music Awards.
The British band have received six nominations for their second album Babel including best rock song and album of the year.
Jay-Z, Kanye West, Frank Ocean, Fun and The Black Keys are also up for six awards.
Babel is the second biggest-selling album in the US this year behind Taylor Swift's Red, which was ineligible for nomination because of its later release date.
The winners will be announced in a televised ceremony from Los Angeles.
