Strictly Come Dancing: Kimberley Walsh gets knee physio
Kimberley Walsh says she hopes to be fully fit for this weekend's Strictly Come Dancing after having physio on her knee.
The Girls Aloud singer is thought to be suffering from iliotibial band syndrome, an injury common to runners.
The 30-year-old star says she has her "fingers crossed" that she will be able to perform her salsa with professional partner Pasha Kovalev.
"I've got a bit of a bad knee which is causing me a bit of trouble," she said.
"But I'm getting physio every day and I'm crossing everything that I'll be able to salsa this weekend."
On last Saturday's show she pulled off her best dance of the series, getting 31 points from the judges which put her in joint second place behind Louis Smith.
There have already been a number of injuries in this series of the BBC One show.
Aliona Vilani damaged her ankle and James Jordan broke his nose.
Louis Smith accidentally revealed the result of last weekend's Strictly Come Dancing before the Sunday night show on Twitter.
The gymnast tweeted a goodbye message for Sid Owen and Ola Jordan on Saturday night, after filming the results show.
He later deleted the comment.
