SCD's Denise Van Outen suffers whiplash in training
Denise Van Outen says it is "touch and go" whether she will be fit to perform on Strictly Come Dancing after injuring herself in training.
The TV presenter suffered whiplash in a practice session with dance partner James Jordan.
She has been for treatment with a physio after hurting herself while practising the jive.
Van Outen says she has "serious pain" caused by the injury, which is usually associated with car crashes.
"I think it is touch and go whether I will be able to perform on Saturday."
She is not the only star to have hurt themselves during this series.
Professional dancer James Jordan broke his nose whilst practising with his wife Ola.
He has said that he feels bad for pushing Denise Van Outen to work hard in training.
"I'm feeling really terrible because I was really mean to her at the beginning of rehearsals."
Meanwhile Aliona Vilani has had to take a break from the competition after damaging her ankle.
Her celebrity partner Johnny Ball has had to dance with Iveta Lukosiute from US show So You Think You Can Dance?
Denise and James were fifth on the leaderboard after the first show of the competition. The judges gave them a combined score of 25 for their waltz.
