Pattinson celebrated by running into the audience and kissing co-star Taylor Lautner - who had also been nominated for the award for his on-screen chemistry with Stewart.
Pattinson also picked up best fight for his scene with Bryce Dallas Howard and Xavier Samuel.
Harry Potter actor Tom Felton won best villain and best comedic performance went to Easy A actress Emma Stone.
