Stars pick 'best albums of 2010'
Part two: Plan B to Paramore, Katy Perry to Taylor Swift, JLS to Kasabian - the stars tell us about the select albums that didn't leave their MP3 player in 2010.
Aston from JLS
Bruno Mars - EP
On iTunes you could get about four tracks from Bruno Mars. I liked to those four tracks over and over again. His music is just so easy listening. Apart from the fact he's got a fantastic voice and he's a great performer. I think the music and the songs are so easy to learn and so catchy. They get stuck in your head. It's fantastic music.
Drake - Thank Me Later
I like it because it's just straight forward big hip hop. His singing sounds like Craig David but his production has a real dubstep feel to it either though its hip hop. His rhyming and his metaphors are second to none - for me he's the best rapper in the world right now.
Professor Green chose...
Plan B - The Defamation Of Strickland Banks
It's an entire project. The concept of it down to the videos - everything ties in.
It's wicked, they nailed it and I think they got everything right. It speaks in its success. He's an amazing artist and he's always been an amazing song writer. I'm glad that people have got to bear witness to that. I think he's going to do even bigger things.
Professor Green - Alive Til I'm Dead
Pro Green just has that funny, quirkiness about it. He brought that grit back a bit. He brought that back a bit like his old school days. I also loved Tinie Tempah's album just because of what it's done. The lyrics are tight. It's got everything somebody would need on an album. We had mad fun in the studio - for the shear fun I've got to vote for that album.
Robyn - Body Talk I
It's really difficult to choose one album but Robyn, definitely. I love her she's amazing, I would love to do something with her at some point.
There are a lot of females today that are speaking their mind and their heart - and it's working.
Stornoway - Stornoway
It's the one album this year that I haven't stopped listening to and listen to from start to finish. It's the most underrated folk album of this year and I don't know why more people don't know it. I would recommend you get yourself a copy. It's beautiful, especially in winter it'll be really special. It's a really perfect album.
Mark Ronson & The Business International - Record Collection
It sounds like something that I haven't really heard before. There's loads of great collaborations and things you wouldn't really expect.
The Bike Song is one of my favourites. I really like the one he did with Wiley as well. I love the lyrics and Mark Ronson actually sings it and its really nice.
Brandon Flowers - Flamingo
I love his voice. The songs Only The Young and Crossfire are two of my favourite songs. So yeah, Brandon Flowers was my favourite.
