The Charlatans' drummer 'comfortable' after collapse
The Charlatans have been forced to postpone their US tour after drummer Jon Brookes collapsed on stage.
The drummer fell ill during a gig at Philadelphia's Johnny Brenda's (September 15).
Brookes received treatment from a doctor attending the show before paramedics arrived and he was taken to hospital.
In an update on their wesbite, the group said he is now being flown back to the UK.
A statement reads: "Brookes is being flown back to the UK for further treatment, although is currently in a comfortable condition, and the band promise to keep everyone informed as and when the situation develops."
The Charlatans plan to reschedule the dates in the future.
