US political drama Scandal will now be shown on Sky Living after it was dropped by More 4 in the UK.

The first two series of the show had been aired on the digital channel, owned by Channel 4, but earlier this week they announced they were cancelling it.

"The Secret is Out! #Scandal is moving to @SkyLivingHD in the UK," tweeted Katie Lowes, who plays Quinn Perkins.

Sky also has the first two series available on demand.

Kerry Washington, who leads Scandal as "fixer" Olivia Pope, confirmed the news on Twitter, referring to some of the show's common phrases.

"YES! It's handled. #InternationalGladiators! #Scandal has a new home in the UK @SkyLivingHD #thesecretsout," she wrote.

The third series has already aired its season finale in the US and it is rumoured a fourth series is likely to be commissioned.

Columbus Short

Earlier this week Columbus Short confirmed he was leaving the programme.

The 31-year-old, who plays Harrison Wright, is facing two criminal charges.

One relates to his wife and another involves an alleged fight in Los Angeles.

A statement in Entertainment Weekly read: "I must confirm my exit from a show I've called home for three years.

"I have enjoyed every single minute of it. Everything must come to an end and unfortunately the time has come for Harrison Wright to exit the canvas."
