James McAvoy has revealed he once refused to walk barefoot over custard in order to promote a film.

Newsbeat spoke to the Scottish actor at Euston rail station in London where a train was named after his latest movie.

His X-Men: Days of Future Past co-star Hugh Jackman admitted he declined to sing the American national anthem.

Both actors also reveal they still regularly use public transport.

X-Men: Days of Future is set for release on 22 May 2014.
