Made in Chelsea confirms a New York mini-series
Producers of Made in Chelsea have confirmed that there will be a mini-series of the show filmed in New York.
The news was teased on the show's Twitter page before "Yep, a six-part series of #MadeinChelsea across the pond #NYCBaby" was posted from the account.
E4 will be showing the six-part series, Made in Chelsea: New York, later this year.
The seventh series of the London-based reality TV show will air in April.
The full details of which cast members will be taking part in the American spin-off have not yet been revealed.
However, Alexandra Felstead, known as Binky in the show, and Louise Thompson have tweeted about the series.
There are reports that Spencer Matthews, Lucy Watson, Andy Jordan and Jamie Laing will be taking part.
The show's executive producer Sarah Dillistone told Radio Times: "We're very excited about the world of Made in Chelsea travelling to America.
"New York has a scene buzzing and is sophisticated enough to rival Chelsea, so it feels like the next natural step.
"We're going to see the cast out of their bubble for the first time since the show began and I'm sure the result will be nothing like we've seen before."
The first series of Made in Chelsea aired in May 2011.
