Former Westlife's Kian Egan to release solo album
Former Westlife singer and I'm a Celebrity winner Kian Egan is to release his first solo album.
The 33-year-old said that he was "excited" to be recording music again.
"Music is my first love, and to be able to get in the studio to record these amazing songs by such wonderful writers is such a thrill and an honour for me."
His debut album will be released on 17 March and has been produced by Brian Rawling who has previously worked with One Direction and Kylie Minogue.
A statement from his management said the LP will feature "tracks from Kian's personal playlist" and that "the album will introduce Kian's fans to some of his favourite songs, to which he brings his own personal touch".
The singer was part of Irish boy band Westlife, who formed in 1998 but split up in 2012.
He then went on to win TV reality show I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! in 2013 and is now a coach on The Voice of Ireland.
Kian Egan was photographed on Wednesday night at the National Television Awards at the O2 Arena in London.
He accepted the award for best entertainment programme, with wife Jodie Albert and reality TV star Joey Essex for I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!
