Haim have postponed their 4 December show at Norwich UEA until 14 March 2014.

The gig has been rescheduled because Danielle Haim is currently suffering from a chest infection.

"We're so sorry we have to cancel tomorrow's show," the band posted on their Facebook page.

The date would have been the first UK show of their current European tour, which will continue in Birmingham on 5 December.

Tickets for the original Norwich show will remain valid for the new date.

The band consists of three sisters, Este, Danielle and Alana Haim, who grew up in Los Angeles playing music together in the family's covers band.

They performed at Reading and Leeds festivals earlier this year and played on Glastonbury's Pyramid stage in June.

Haim's debut album, Days Are Gone, entered the Official UK album chart at number one when it was released in September.

The LA trio will embark on another UK tour in March 2014.

The band beat AlunaGeorge, Angel Haze and Laura Mvula among others to top the BBC Sound of 2013 poll.

The longlist for the BBC Sound of 2014 was released earlier this week, with the top five and overall winner being announced in January.
