Danny Dyer has told Newsbeat that it's been several years since he made a movie he felt "proud" of.

The actor, who's made a career playing the the hard man, also admitted to choosing roles based on the pay check and not the script.

The 36-year-old's films include The Football Factory, Human Traffic and Dead Man Running.

The next chapter in Danny Dyer's career will be a role in EastEnders.
