X Factor USA contestants to sing again after vote error
X factor USA contestants are to repeat their performances on Thursday evening after the wrong results appeared on Wednesday's show.
In an online statement the show said: "As a result of a graphics error... the Top 13 acts will perform their 'Save Me' songs for America's re-vote."
The results of Thursday's performances will be revealed on 13 November on Fox.
Simon Cowell, who is a judge on the talent show, tweeted: "It's happened once before. It's live TV.
"You have to deal with it, tough for the contestants though. But you have to dig deep and deliver."
The third season of the show has seen Cowell joined by new judges Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio along with the returning Demi Lovato.
Cowell, 54, who mentors the groups on the show, added: "Mistakes happen. But now I have 24 hours to prepare my groups for tomorrow (Thursday) night. Let's hope they all deliver."
In his series of tweets about the show he also said some of contestants "must be thanking their lucky stars" that they get to sing again.
This season of X Factor USA has seen its audience figures drop to an all-time low in America with the first episode getting 6.2 million viewers.
When the show first started in 2011 its opening episode pulled in 12.1 million people.
