Halloween night: Nicole Scherzinger dresses as Catwoman

Nicole Scherzinger, Paris Hilton and President Barack Obama are among the celebrities who dressed up for Halloween.
Celebrities were out in force in the UK and the US for Halloween night. X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger turned up at Jonathan Ross' annual party in London dressed as Catwoman. Other guests included Jack Whitehall, Jimmy Carr and Professor Green.
Heidi Klum (pictured) hosted her 14th annual Halloween party in New York dressed as an old lady. The 40-year-old used a cane, wore a white wig, had varicose veins painted on her legs and wrinkles added by Oscar-winning make-up artists Bill Corso and Mike Marino using prosthetics.
Co-founder of Def Jam records Russell Simmons went to Heidi Klum's party. He went dressed as a member of Run DMC. His brother Joseph Simmons, also known as Rev Run, was a founding member of the hip hop group.
Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton also went to Heidi Klum's party dressed as Miley Cyrus. He recreated the outfit she wore during her MTV Video Music Awards performance with Robin Thicke.
Singer, actress and X Factor USA judge Demi Lovato hosted a Halloween party at her home in West Hollywood, California.
Meanwhile, the White House in Washington DC was decorated for Halloween to welcome local kids and children of military families to trick or treat for Halloween.
American President Barack Obama and wife Michelle stepped outside to give treats to visiting children at the White House in Washington. They gave away a butter cookie shaped like the White House, a box of M&Ms with the presidential seal on the box and a handful of dried fruit to each child.
Mr Selfridge actor Jeremy Piven attended Treats! Magazine's third annual trick or treats Halloween Party in Los Angeles.
Paris Hilton was also at the same party.
