The Wanted must choose from 30 tracks for next album

27 June 2013 Last updated at 12:13 BST

The Wanted have told Newsbeat they have 30 tracks for their new album and are beginning to narrow them down.

Speaking to Nesta McGregor, the band talked about what happens to the surplus tracks, some of which may be sent to other artists.

But they also said they can tell when they are getting a cast-off from another artist.

The group are back to full strength with Nathan recovered from throat surgery, and their latest single Walks Like Rihanna is released this week.
