BBC Three confirms fourth and final series of Him & Her
A fourth and final series of BBC Three's award-winning comedy Him & Her has been commissioned by TV bosses.
The comedy starring Russell Tovey (Steve) and Sarah Solemani (Becky) will be made later this year.
Him & Her made its debut in 2010 and has become one of the most successful sitcoms launched on the channel.
It won an RTS Award for best comedy performance and writer Stefan Golaszewski received the breakthrough talent award at the Bafta TV Awards.
The final series will follow Becky and Steve as they leave the flat for the first time for Laura and Paul's wedding.
Writer Stefan Golaszewski said: "After three series in Steve and Becky's bedsit, we're moving them into the outside world as we reach the final chapter of their story."
Richard Laxton who has directed all 18 episodes to date, will return for the final series.
He directed the pilot in 2010 with Big Talk CEO Kenton Allen and Lyndsay Robinson producing.
The series also stars Kerry Howard, Joe Wilkinson and Inbetweeners actor Blake Harrison.
The six 30-minute episodes will be broadcast later in the year on BBC Three.
