Jamal Edwards: Music fans 'want good music show' on TV

Online music video service Vevo says one of the reasons it is launching a UK TV channel is because there aren't enough opportunities for artists to appear on television.

But broadcasters like the BBC say viewing habits have changed, with audiences consuming music programming on an on-demand basis.

Jamal Edwards has been producing music content for his online lifestyle channel SBTV for the past seven years.

Last week he launched a new series of music shows online which are scheduled, like TV, at specific times.

The 22-year-old says prime time terrestrial TV is "screaming for a good music show".
