Ewan McGregor: Don't recast my Star Wars role

Ewan McGregor's admitted he would rather return to play Obi-Wan Kenobi in the new Star Wars films, over anyone else.

The actor played the role in Star Wars Episodes I, II and III and McGregor was discussing his potential return while promoting his latest film, Jack the Giant Slayer, alongside actor Stanley Tucci.

Disney announced in January 2013 that JJ Abrams would direct Star Wars Episode VII for release in 2015.

McGregor and Tucci were talking to Newsbeat entertainment reporter Natalie Jamieson.

Jack The Giant Slayer is released in the UK on 22 March.
