Joanna Page announced that she was expecting in September on Twitter
Joanna Page has announced the birth of her first child on Twitter.
The 34-year-old actress, who played Stacey in Bafta-winning BBC series Gavin & Stacey, has had a daughter with husband James Thornton.
The tweet said: "We are delighted to announce that Eva Madelief Russell was born 15th Feb,10:58am, weighing 6lbs 8ozs at The Lindo Wing. She's adorable!"
She lives with her husband and Jack Russell dog, Daisy, in Oxfordshire.
Joanna Page starred in Sky drama Gates earlier this year with Tom Ellis and has also recently appeared in The Syndicate and Bedlam.
The star gave birth at the private maternity unit in St Mary's Hospital, London.
James Thornton, her husband of nine years, also tweeted to say he was "over the moon".
He played farmer John Barton in Emmerdale between 2009 and 2012.
