Little Mix, Rizzle Kicks and Everything Everything have joined the line-up for this year's Isle of Wight festival.

Bastille, Delilah and Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe will also play the event, which takes place from 13 to 16 June at Seaclose Park, Newport.

The Killers, Bon Jovi and The Stone Roses are headlining the festival.

In 2012, heavy rain turned the festival site into a mud bath, which forced festival-goers to sleep in their cars as traffic became gridlocked.

Organiser John Giddings has said he will try his best to stop a repeat of the problems which affected last year's event.

"We're spending a lot of time, energy and money on improving the car parks and making sure we don't get a repeat of that again," he said.

"I can't tell you someone isn't going to drop an atomic bomb on the Isle of Wight but we're going to do our best to prevent that happening."

Speaking about their addition to the line-up, former X Factor winners Little Mix said: "We are so excited to be doing the Isle of Wight Festival this year.

"We've always wanted to go and now we get to go and perform, amazing."
