Plan B, Example and Jessie Ware are among a fresh wave of artists confirmed to perform at this year's Parklife Weekender.

The event is to be held at an as yet unconfirmed venue in Manchester between 8-9 June.

The two day music event will also feature performances from Disclosure, Rita Ora and DJ Fresh.

Last year the event was headlined by Dizzee Rascal and The Flaming Lips.

Organisers haven't revealed which days the acts will perform on yet but also on the line-up for 2013 is Rudimental, Mark Ronson, Sub Focus, Jurassic 5 and Wretch 32.

Newcomers Joey Bada$$, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs and AlunaGeorge will also take to the stage.

The Maccabees and Everything Everything have already been confirmed to play.

Speaking about his headline appearance rapper Example said: "I've played up North a few times and the crowds are always up for it and I buzz off their energy!"
