Dave Grohl's Sound City Players for UK gig
Dave Grohl's latest supergroup Sound City Players have announced details of a show in London on 19 February.
The group, assembled by Grohl to accompany his documentary film about Los Angeles' Sound City Studios, will play Kentish Town Forum.
Stars including Stevie Nicks and John Fogerty have already joined the Foo Fighters star for similar gigs in Utah and Los Angeles.
The film will receive its UK premiere on Monday 18 February.
On the night, the movie will be screened at selected cinemas across the UK.
Sound City was the recording home of Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Johnny Cash, Neil Young, Fleetwood Mac, Tom Petty, Metallica, Rage Against the Machine and Arctic Monkeys before it shut in 2011.
It was the studio where Grohl's band Nirvana recorded their 1991 album Nevermind.
At a recent show in Hollywood the Sound City Players line-up featured members of Foo Fighters along with stars from Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Slipknot and Cheap Trick.
Details of the guests for the London show have yet to be confirmed.
