Tom Odell
Singer songwriter Tom Odell says he's looking forward to going to his first Brit Awards.
He'll possibly be attending with Lily Cooper, who signed the 22-year-old to her In The Name Of (ITNO) record label last year.
He's already been named the first ever male winner of the Brits Critics' Choice Award.
"I think I'll be sat with Lily (Cooper), I think she's going to come.
"I haven't really been speaking to her much recently because she's had a baby!"
On performing at the ceremony's warm-up and after-show events he says: "I'm not really that nervous about it. I love playing so it's going to be good fun."
"I've never been to the Brits before but I've been told people like a drink, although I'm not going to be able to drink which is probably a good thing."
'An amazing musician'Speaking of his friendship with Lily, he admits he'd love to collaborate with her in the future.
"It would be a privilege. I've liked her music since I was 16. She's an amazing musician."
By accepting the Critics Choice Award, Tom follows in the footsteps of Adele, Jessie J and Emeli Sande.
Odell was shortlisted against AlunaGeorge and Laura Mvula and also made the BBC's Sound of 2013 longlist.
The Brit awards take place on 20 February at London's O2 Arena, with James Corden returning as host.
