Samantha Barks says the success of Les Miserables is "absolutely outstanding" and praises her co-star Hugh Jackman for being an "inspiration" on the film.
Barks plays the part of Eponine in the film version of the musical which has been nominated for eight Academy Awards.
The actress was speaking to Newsbeat's Amelia Butterly at the London Critics' Circle Awards.
