Lauren Pope defends talking about plastic surgery on Towie

Towie star Lauren Pope has defended the amount that the cast talk about plastic surgery.

The star of the ITV2 show said it showed the programme was "realistic" and didn't think it would influence young people to get surgery.

Lauren had breast enlargement surgery several years ago but had to have them removed after finding out they were PIP implants.

She was speaking to Newsbeat's Maddii Lown.
