Robbie Williams has announced a European summer stadium tour for 2013.

His Take The Crown tour will begin with four dates at Manchester's Etihad Stadium on 18, 19, 21 and 22 June and end in Estonia on 20 August.

The UK leg also includes Hampden Park in Glasgow and three performances at Wembley Stadium in London.

Robbie Williams' latest album, also called Take The Crown, went straight to number one when it was released this month.

Candy, the first track from the album, also topped the singles chart and became his seventh solo number one.

His last two albums failed to match the commercial and critical success of his earlier work.

The 2013 tour will visit countries including Germany, Austria, Italy and Sweden.

Olly Murs, at the top of the UK singles chart, is the support act for the tour.

The former X Factor contestant tweeted: "I can finally say... Been hard keeping it a secret!! Going on tour with @robbiewilliams next year!! Buzzzzzzzing!! What an honour!!"

Robbie's last stadium dates were with Take That during their 2011 Progress tour.

The 38-year-old also played three solo shows at London's O2 Arena earlier this month.
