Rihanna played The Forum in Kentish Town, north London
Rihanna played an intimate gig in London last night to mark the UK leg of her 777 tour.
The singer, accompanied by a full band, performed past hits as well as tracks from her new album, Unapologetic.
She was cheered on by more than 1,500 specially invited fans at the The Forum in Kentish Town, north London.
To mark the release of the 24-year-old's seventh studio album, she's scheduled to perform seven shows in seven cities in seven days.
Rihanna's travelling onboard a Boeing 777 jet with more than 150 invited journalists and members of the media.
Tamara and Chloe spent £50 on a cab to get to the Rihanna gig
Concert goers Tamara and Chloe, both 16, had earlier been to a shopping centre to see the singer switch on its Christmas lights.
"After that we saw her tweet so we jumped in a taxi and came here. That costs us like £50 but it was so worth it," says Chloe.
"She's such a hard worker. It shows her dedication to the fans to put on these free live shows because she could have made so much money from them," she adds.
Hannah and Michael see Rihanna as a role model because she is feisty
London is the sixth stop on her promotional tour with the star having already visiting Mexico City, Toronto, Stockholm, Paris and Berlin.
Wearing a black sports bra and loose fitting white trousers Rihanna's 50-minute set including songs like Birthday Cake, Run This Town and her latest single Diamonds.
There was also an acoustic version of Unfaithful.
Hannah, 22, and her 16-year-old brother Michael from Hertfordshire queued for seven hours for their tickets.
"We both touched her hand and grabbed her mic. She looked at me three times," laughs Michael.
The pair from Cambridge say they view Rihanna as a role model because of her feisty attitude.
"She's amazing. She loves London so we love her.
"I think she's an idol for most teenagers because she just doesn't care" added Hannah.
