Gary Barlow has announced a 15-date UK tour, beginning in Bournemouth next month.
The Take That star says the gigs will fit around his commitments as a judge on The X Factor.
As part of the tour, he'll play two hometown shows in Manchester at the city's Apollo and Bridgewater Hall.
Barlow's gigs will take place midweek while the X Factor is on-air, avoiding any clash with the live Saturday and Sunday night shows.
The last time he toured solo was in 1999.
On his website, he wrote: "Playing live is my favourite thing. Last year playing two London shows was brilliant.
"We all had such a good time so I thought right let's get out and see the rest of the country."
The concerts will feature songs from both his time in Take That and as a solo singer.
When Take That initially split up in 1996, Barlow went on to have two UK number one singles, Forever Love and Love Won't Wait.
But the solo hits soon dried up, before Take That made a successful comeback in 2006 with the song Patience.
Barlow was made an OBE in the Queen's birthday honours list in the summer.
He also helped organise this year's Diamond Jubilee concert celebrations.
Tickets go on sale on Friday 19 October.
