Mumford & Sons' second album Babel has become the fastest-selling album of the year in the US, according to Nielsen Soundscan.

The release sold 600,000 copies in its first week, more than any opener this year.

It has become the London foursome's first number one album in America.

Marcus Mumford and Ted Dwane spoke to Newsbeat's entertainment reporter Natalie Jamieson about what the record sales mean to them.
