Emma Watson interested in JK Rowling 'director cut' idea

Emma Watson has warned audiences that they should bring tissues to her new film The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Watson plays Sam in the coming of age film based on the book by Stephen Chbosky.

The actress also expressed surprise about JK Rowling's thoughts to create a 'director's cut' of some of the Harry Potter books.

Emma Watson was speaking to Newsbeat's Chi Chi Izundu.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower is released in the United Kingdom on 3 October.
