Usher Usher has also been revealed as a mentor on The Voice in the US

Usher has rescheduled his forthcoming UK arena tour due to "professional and personal commitments".

A statement from the American singer said: "I'm grateful for your support while I take this time to focus on my children."

The R&B star also recently signed up as a coach on The Voice US, which is due to start next year.

The UK tour, which was due to kick off at London's O2 arena on 27 January, will now take place in "autumn 2013".

Rearranged dates for the concerts have yet to be confirmed.

As well as London, shows in Glasgow, Birmingham, Sheffield and Nottingham and Manchester will also be moved.

Organisers have apologised to anyone inconvenienced by the change but said refunds would be available to fans from the point of purchase.

The seven-time Grammy winner released his latest album, Looking 4 Myself, in June 2012.
