Azealia Banks has revealed that she's written a track which could appear on Lady Gaga's forthcoming third album.
The Harlem-born rapper said: "I worked on a song for her. I don't know if it'll make her record but I hope it'll make her record."
Lady Gaga is expected to release ARTPOP, the follow-up to her Born This Way album, in 2013.
Azealia Banks, who is now 21, also expressed her interest in working with Rihanna.
She was tipped as a potential breakthrough star at the beginning of this year and came third on the BBC's Sound of 2012 list.
But the release of her debut album was recently pushed back from September to February next year.
Speaking at the GQ Men Of The Year awards in London, she said she made the decision in order to "build a little bit more of a profile for myself".
She added: "I feel like if I was to drop my album before it would have been a little bit blindly. No-one would have known who I was.
"When I put the mix tape out it was really just to build a fan base and build a hype in a real way."
