Cheryl Cole has said she is "absolutely fine" after being involved in a minor car crash with will.i.am, but that it was not nice to see blood afterwards.

Cheryl and the Black Eyed Peas singer were involved in the accident on Wednesday, following a late night recording session.

Will was left with a bloody nose and went to hospital to get checked out but has assured fans that he is fine.

The star also told Newsbeat that new Girls Aloud songs soon to be released will not move far from the group's trademark pop sound.
