Glamour model Rhian Sugden, former So Solid Crew member MC Harvey and Team GB judo star Ashley McKenzie are all in this year's Celebrity Big Brother.
Also appearing will be Coronation Street actress Julie Goodyear, Jersey Shore star Mike "the Situation" Sorrentino and comedian Julian Clary.
This is the third celebrity show to be launched in the last year.
Monday's final of the normal Big Brother series, won by chef Luke A, was the least watched end to a series ever.
It pulled in an average of 1.5 million viewers, less than 40% of the audience for the final of Big Brother in 2010 before the programme was dropped by Channel 4.
The rest of the Celebrity Big Brother house is made up of actor and musician Martin Kemp, former Loose Woman host Coleen Nolan, ex-EastEnders actress Cheryl Fergison and journalist Samantha Brick.
Also appearing are model Danica Thrall, Make Me A Supermodel contestant Jasmine Lennard and Italian-born Prince Lorenzo Borghese, who starred in US series The Bachelor.
Duane "Dog" Chapman from US series Dog The Bounty Hunter had been due to take part but was denied a UK visa.
The reality TV star was denied entry to the UK because of a 1970s murder conviction.
