Edward Norton has compared playing The Incredible Hulk to portraying Hamlet.
The American actor played the comic book hero in 2008 before Mark Ruffalo took over the role for this year's Avengers Assemble.
Norton confessed that he disliked films that retell the same story in a cynical manner and promised that the new Bourne film was more of an expansion of the existing world that would please fans.
The Bourne Legacy is released in the UK on Monday 13 August.
