The former Spice Girls manager who is being sued by X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos, says he had no part in releasing a sex video of her online.

Chris Herbert claims that he tried to strongly discourage Tulisa's ex-boyfriend, Justin Edwards, against posting the footage on the internet.

But the music manager says despite his warnings of it being "career suicide", his former client went ahead regardless.

The 41-year-old, who's had his job as a consultant on The X Factor suspended, told Newsbeat's entertainment reporter Chi Chi Izundu that he is determined to clear his name.

Tulisa has accused Mr Herbert of trying to sell the video online for £3.86 per view with her ex-boyfriend Justin Edwards.
