London 2012: Ceremony 'huge moment' for British music

Alex Trimble, lead singer with Two Door Cinema Club says the opening ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics was a "huge" moment for British music.

He performed a track called Caliban's Dream, written by Underworld's Rick Smith at the ceremony.

Other artists who took to the stage on the night included Arctic Monkeys, Emeli Sande, Sir Paul McCartney and Dizzee Rascal.

Alex was speaking to Newsbeat's music reporter Greg Cochrane.
