Rebecca Ferguson finished in second place on The X Factor in 2010
Singer Rebecca Ferguson has split from her management team.
The X Factor runner-up had been with Modest Management since her stint on the TV show in 2010.
On 13 July Ferguson wrote a series of tweets criticising her work schedule. "Was so exhausted I couldn't physically walk on my own but was still told I had to work!" read one.
Modest Management, which also represents One Direction and Leona Lewis, is not commenting on the split.
But it did confirm that it had stopped working with the singer about three weeks ago.
Louis Tomlinson from One Direction responded to Ferguson's tweets by replying: "Success is impossible without proper hard work."
It appears that tweet has since been deleted, although Ferguson's response to Tomlinson remains: "I forgive u I used to be scared and think I had to do whatever they told me to do too."
Rebecca Ferguson's spokesperson has also declined to comment.
