Nick Grimshaw named as new host of Radio 1 breakfast show

Nick Grimshaw will replace Chris Moyles as host of the Radio 1 breakfast show.

Grimshaw currently presents a night-time show on Radio 1 between 10pm and midnight on Sundays to Thursdays.

The 27-year-old has been presenting the show on the station since June 2009.

Chris Moyles announced live on air that he is to leave the Radio 1 breakfast show after nearly nine years.
