The number of anabolic steroid users seeking help and advice is doubling year on year, according to health officials and charities.
They suggest around 100,000 people across the UK are now using them despite side-effects including liver and heart problems, premature hair loss and shrunken testicles.
Joe Keen, works at Lifeline drug centre in Middlesbrough, talks through some of the substances that steroid users have brought in.
He says some people have experimented with drugs meant for use on animals or intended for treating cancer and asthma to try to get a better body.
