Jessie J: The Voice tour cancellation is a good thing

Jessie J says that the cancellation of The Voice UK Live tour is a good thing and will allow the contestants to develop as artists.

The 11-date tour for The Voice UK Live was cancelled earlier this month due to a lack of ticket sales.

The singer was speaking to Newsbeat's entertainment reporter Natalie Jamieson at Radio 1's Hackney Weekend.

Highlights from the event, which was part of the London 2012 Festival, are available on the BBC's Hackney Weekend website.
