This weekend 100,000 people will attend BBC Radio 1's Hackney Weekend, the biggest live event the network has ever organised.

Leona Lewis, who lives locally, will open the main stage on Saturday (23 June) followed by headline act Jay-Z later that evening.

The singer said: "I've got to put on a good show and I hope it's going to be awesome."

The event, which is part of the London 2012 Festival, will also feature performances by Rihanna, Kasabian and will.i.am.

The majority of tickets have been allocated to people living in Hackney and the surrounding boroughs in London.
