The stars of new film Fast Girls have talked about the issue of having mixed race and black characters as lead characters in British films.

Lenora Crichlow (sitting next to director Regan Hall in video) plays Shania Andrews in the movie about a group of female British sprinters. The film also stars Noel Clarke (sitting next to actress Lily James) who co-wrote the script.

The duo hoped that the film would encourage greater diversity on the screen in future.
