The Vaccines

The Vaccines have announced that their second album will be called The Vaccines Come Of Age.

Due for release on 3 September, it'll be preceded on 8 July by a new single called No Hope - which got its debut on Monday evening on Zane Lowe's show.

The new album follows the band's Brit nominated debut What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?

The four-piece recently finished a tour of seaside towns and are set to play Radio 1's Hackney Weekend.

Speaking to Zane, singer Justin Young said the new track had a "fun" sound and was "a really good bridge between the first record and the second record".

"It shows people we're still doing pretty much the same thing," he said.

"But I guess as musicians and performers we've come a long way in the last 18 months. I think there's a lot more character and musicianship in there."

Also on The Vaccines' live agenda this summer are appearances at T in the Park, Reading and Leeds, as well as support slots with The Stone Roses and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
