The actress previously dated actor Rupert Friend for several years
Actress Keira Knightley and her boyfriend, James Righton, from Klaxons have announced their engagement.
A spokeswoman for the actress said: "I can confirm that Keira is engaged to be married to James Righton."
The details of the proposal are being kept quiet. Her publicist added: "We are not discussing any further details."

The couple have been together for 15 months and were introduced by their TV presenter friend Alexa Chung.
The 27-year-old actress, whose past movie roles include Atonement and the first three Pirates Of The Caribbean titles, is due to begin filming in the US.

The Oscar-nominated actress previously dated Pride and Prejudice actor Rupert Friend for several years. The couple split in 2010.
Her new fiance, keyboardist James Righton, is working on a new album with his band after releasing their second record in 2010.
The Klaxons' debut album Myths Of The Near Future won the Mercury Prize in 2007.
